The Royal Mint struck for circulation about 2.184,320 pieces [475,200 in 1844] using an unrecorded number of dies with only 35 varieties seen [excluding proofs], consisting of 7 obverse dies paired with 35 reverse dies. On this Volume III are posted varieties JC-30 to JC-39 as follow:

Similar to reverse 16. Misaligned date. Uphill numeral 43. Repunched crosslet 4 & closed 3 punched over open 3. Blunt 1 of fraction. With or w/o die crack from first left leave through ribbon to 1st. right leave.
